Should I buy Insurance Leads
Time and time again insurance agents ask if they should buy leads to supplement what they do on their own. While there is no way of saying for sure if you should do this, there are definitely some pros and cons. In fact, there is one major pro and one major con that you should be aware of.
First off, take a close look at the main benefit. When you buy insurance leads you will never have to market on your own. Of course, you may still want to, but since you can get the leads delivered to you on a regular basis you do not have to.
On the bad side of things, buying insurance leads means that you have to pay money out of your pocket. This is not a bad thing if you can convert some of these leads into sales. While your main goal should always be to turn each lead into a sold policy, you need to realize that this is not realistic. Instead, do your best to at least make a profit off of every batch of insurance leads that you purchase.
All in all, you should at least consider buying insurance leads. You may find out that they are a waste of time, but do not count on this. More and more agents of all types are buying insurance leads because they like the flexibility that they offer.
